About You

As a key member of our Croke Park Team, you will be responsible for producing exceptional events that ensure both client and internal operational success. You should have a minimum of five years of experience in the event industry, ideally across technical and/or production in the live corporate event sector, with expertise in two of the following areas: technical production, event planning, audio, visual, lighting, stagecraft.

About the Opportunity

We are looking to fill a vacant role of Planning Production Specialist as part of the Croke Park team,  based at the iconic north Dublin stadium. This is a pivotal role in ensuring our event solutions are executed at the highest level, focusing on both planning, organisation,  aesthetics and seamless technical delivery. Reporting directly to the Venue Account Manager, you will collaborate closely with teams across sales, operations, design, and video.

In this role, you will work with our clients, sales team, and event designers to define each project’s creative and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Producing Project Solutions: Collaborate with internal and external event stakeholders to deliver innovative project solutions.
  • Technical Documentation: Create scaled room layouts, detailed cable plans, and Health & Safety documentation.
  • Logistics and Coordination: Confirm agendas and schedules, liaise with all internal and external stakeholders and manage event content and media.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead project reviews, apply lessons learned to future projects and stay abreast of industry trends and innovations.
  • On-Site Support: Provide live event support and on-site technical assistance and flexibility in fulfilling on-site technical and event producer roles when required.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

  • Experience: Minimum of five years across various roles in the production of live events.
  • Passion: A love for events, a passion for delivering exceptional experiences, and an eye for the latest trends.
  • Adaptability: Resilience, flexibility, and a can-do attitude.
  • Professionalism: Energetic, confident, and upbeat with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Event Expertise: Proven experience producing in-person, hybrid and virtual events.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge of audio, visual, staging, and lighting technology.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in operating computer software and hardware.
  • Environmental Responsibility: A strong drive to ‘do the right thing’ for the planet and future generations.
