Value delivered

The objective was to create a flexible, reusable activation solution that could travel across EY offices and client locations throughout the island of Ireland. AVCOM was tasked with refining the original concept and delivering a modular design that could be easily deployed, transported, and reconfigured while maintaining a high-impact immersive experience for attendees.

The resulting solution enabled EY to host a series of in-room activations that explored future-focused themes with clients and stakeholders, combining structured storytelling, audiovisual presentations, and an immersive environment to support meaningful discussions on the future of business and technology.

• End-to-end design and build
  AVCOM delivered full project management of the design, construction, and integration of four freestanding modular units incorporating display, audio, and lighting technology. The units were engineered for durability and portability, allowing EY teams to deploy the activation across multiple venues while maintaining consistent technical performance and visual impact.
• Technical control and show delivery
  AVCOM developed and programmed the central playback and control system powering the Four Futures experience. This integrated hardware and software solution ensured seamless synchronisation of video, audio, and lighting content throughout the presentation.
• Immersive environment design
  To support the experience, AVCOM sourced and installed a professional pipe-and-drape system from ShowTex along with a reusable multi-surface flooring solution. Together, these elements transformed standard meeting rooms into a controlled ‘black box’ environment suitable for immersive storytelling.
• Testing, deployment and ongoing support
  The solution was fully assembled, tested, and demonstrated in the AVCOM warehouse before deployment. AVCOM then delivered, installed, dismantled, and transported the system for multiple activations across Dublin in 2025, with further deployments planned for 2026 in Dublin, Belfast, Cork, and Kerry.

How AVCOM helped EY experience more 

Working closely with Chloe Carton Ryan and the EY Ireland team, AVCOM transformed an imported concept into a bespoke Irish-built activation platform designed for longevity and scalability. By combining modular engineering, immersive AV design, and robust operational planning, the Four Futures installation became a reusable engagement tool that could travel across offices and client locations nationwide.

The project represents a new approach to corporate engagement for EY Ireland, one that blends immersive storytelling with flexible event infrastructure. Designed and built locally, the solution enables EY to continue activating the Four Futures experience nationwide while delivering meaningful, future-focused conversations with clients and stakeholders.
