the 1878 is a luxurious and exclusive Private Members Club within Dublin’s iconic 3Arena. With nearly two decades of expertise, the 1878 has built a reputation for delivering exceptional show night experiences, offering members a premium journey to live entertainment.

For the Irish Construction Industry Awards, AVCOM was invited to design and deliver a series of immersive activations that offered guests a taste of the 1878’s signature pre-show and post-show hospitality. The objective was to create a seamless extension of the Club’s elevated experience, enhancing the event journey for attendees and showcasing the value of membership at the 1878.

AVCOM collaborated closely with the 3Arena team to ensure each activation authentically reflected the essence of the 1878. Every touchpoint was thoughtfully crafted to bring the Club’s exclusive atmosphere to life, delivering polish, personality, and premium detail that resonated throughout the venue.

Experiential Touchpoints Included:

  • Event Design: Luxury in Every Layer
    AVCOM’s event design elevated the experience through bespoke spaces, refined ambience, and sensory storytelling. Three custom activation zones were designed within the foyer, incorporating signature 1878 furniture and soft furnishings to evoke the Club’s refined ambience. A live string quartet performed beside a large-format LED screen, creating a memorable and elegant arrival moment.
  • Branding: Curated Moments of Brand Connection
    Guests were immersed in the world of the 1878 through curated brand moments, including a dedicated competition zone, photo opportunities, and on-site sign-up stations for membership. A compelling brand presence blended the exclusivity of the 1878 with the dynamic energy of the awards event.
  • Props: Setting the Scene with Signature Style
    Tabletop lamps, carefully selected to reflect the Club’s aesthetic, added warmth, charm, and authenticity to each space.
  • Lighting & Content: Technical Precision, Creative Excellence
    A dedicated AVCOM producer and onsite technical team managed pre-event rehearsals, stakeholder communications, and show delivery, ensuring a flawless experience from doors open to the final encore.
