PwC All-Star Awards
The PwC All-Star Awards is the flagship event in the Gaelic Athletic Association calendar, celebrating Ireland’s top Gaelic football and hurling talent across 15 positions, along with the coveted Player of the Year honours in both codes. First held in 1971 and jointly presented by the GAA and Gaelic Players Association since 2011, the awards have become the most prestigious accolades in Irish sport.
In 2024, the event returned to the RDS on Friday, November 1st, coinciding with the 140th anniversary of the GAA’s founding. With 1,200 guests in attendance and over 350,000 viewers watching live on RTÉ and RTÉ Player, the event seamlessly combined a live awards ceremony, national broadcast, and post-show celebrations, culminating in a gala dinner and entertainment.

As a trusted production partner, AVCOM delivered seamless technical execution, bespoke scenic design, dynamic branding integration, and full broadcast coordination with RTÉ. Working closely with PwC’s marketing team, we ensured a consistent, high-impact experience across both in-room and on-screen audiences.
- Bespoke Branding Assets
Our design team created bespoke visual content aligned with PwC’s brand guidelines, including animated graphics and digital table plans. The brand palette was extended across six 4 m-high LED displays, complemented by custom scenic elements for a cohesive in-room and on-air aesthetic. - In-Room Technical Production
We provided complete technical production infrastructure for 1,200 guests, including audio, visuals, LED, and scenic design, delivering a polished, immersive experience that elevated the awards ceremony. - Live Broadcast Integration
Our team worked in close coordination with RTÉ’s Outside Broadcast Unit, aligning all technical elements to ensure a clean, high-quality live audio feed for the national broadcast. - Onsite Technical Management
A dedicated AVCOM producer and onsite technical team managed pre-event rehearsals, stakeholder communications, and show delivery, ensuring a flawless experience from doors open to the final encore.
