Mastercard Technology Symposium

The Mastercard Technology Symposium took place on the penthouse level of the newly completed SC2 building at Mastercard’s EMEA HQ in Dublin. Designed to bring international teams together for a day of collaboration, the event needed to convert an active construction zone into a fully immersive brand environment in under six weeks.

AVCOM was engaged to design and deliver a complete end-to-end solution. The experience included guest registration, networking and dining areas, an informal “ask-me-anything” fireside zone, and a fully equipped main plenary stage. The challenge was to retain the authenticity of the raw, unfinished venue while creating a welcoming and premium guest experience.

Value delivered

From the first site visit to event day, AVCOM’s Design and Production teams worked closely to reimagine the space without concealing its industrial character. We measured and mapped each area to optimise flow, created detailed floor plans, and collaborated closely with Mastercard’s facilities team to ensure safety and compliance. Reusable ATOMIC modular systems, temporary brand installations, and carefully selected sustainable furnishings contributed to a responsible design-led event, supporting Mastercard’s commitment to responsible innovation.

By amplifying the raw textures of the space with strategic lighting, content design, and acoustic treatments, we created a distinct and memorable environment that mirrored Mastercard’s tech-first vision while delivering on comfort and clarity.

  • Event theming and branding
    Working within a six-week timeline, AVCOM developed and delivered a fast-tracked, design-led concept. Custom-branded artefacts and furnishings made the unfinished space functional, while every detail, from seating arrangements to stage design, was planned and visualised to support a cohesive brand journey.
  • Event concept design
    A live construction site was transformed into a premium symposium setting. Modular, sustainable installations, integrated LED displays, and carefully designed layouts ensured a natural flow through each stage of the event. From arrival to the top-floor plenary, attendees moved through clearly defined zones where Mastercard’s brand was activated at every touchpoint.
  • Content creation and delivery
    AVCOM collaborated with Mastercard’s EMEA and US teams to ensure digital content was developed for maximum impact. Our technical specialists integrated content with the stage and AV infrastructure, delivering clarity and engagement both for those in the room and the remote audience.
