Know the role

Due to recent and continued success, we seek an experienced production manager to join our growing team at AVCOM at this exciting time of our expansion. The role is to ensure we produce our event solution experiences to the highest level, focusing on aesthetics and seamless technical delivery. You will report to the Sales Director and work closely with multiple teams across sales, operations, design, and video. Your day-to-day workflow will be managed by the Head of Production, where you’ll meet clients and our account managers to establish the project’s creative and technical requirements. We have significant revenue growth planned for the next two years, and you will be front and centre on achieving this growth target.

Key Responsibilities

  • Producing project solutions in collaboration with both internal and external event stakeholders.
  • Flexibility is required in providing live event support and onsite technical & event producer role functions.
  • Continuous learning, leading project reviews and applying improvements to future projects.
  • Instrumental in developing the production department function.
  • Producing scaled room layouts, detailed cable plans, Health & Safety documentation
  • Confirming agenda and time schedules, liaising with the venue and logistics teams, securing equipment sub-rentals, logistics, and managing event content and media.

Key Attributes:

  • Minimum ten years of experience in a similar role within the events industry.
  • Energetic, confident, upbeat professional with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience delivering Hybrid and Virtual events.
  • Resilience, flexibility and a can-do attitude.
  • A love of events, a passion for delivering experiences and an eye for the latest trends.
  • Technical knowledge of audio, visual, staging and lighting technology.
  • A strong drive to ‘do the right thing’ for the planet and future generations.
  • Full Clean Driving Licence.
  • Expertise in operating computer software and hardware.
